What I really came for was the view. And I wasn't disappointed. It was raining right before I got there, but it cleared up and I was able to eat outside. Wondrous indeed.

Latest 2 Reviews :
From Open Table (3 Stars, 3/24/2014) : "This restaurant is adjacent to the American Airlines Arena. The food is good but nothing outstanding and for a Cuban restautrant is missing some important offerings. Also, the menu is preety pricey. There are too many good Cuban restaurants to eat here and if not for Heat game that we were attending, there would be no reason to go here. Service is very good though."
From Yelp (3 Stars, 1/17/2014) : Decent, but not great Cuban cuisine--and I have had the privilege of dining in Havana. This is commercialized Cuban food (supplied by Sysco). Decent, but not spectacular, chicken with rice.

I had the coq au vin which was superb, and my husband had the burger which despite being tasty, he thought it may have been better served as one burger rather than two sliders (too much bun). We had the tasting plate for dessert, four different dishes on one plate - it was incredible!"
From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/1/2014) : We ordered a wonderful CdP and the Grand ASSIETTE DE CHARCUTERIE (Selection of House Made Terrines & Cured Meats w/ Toasted Country Bread) Out of this world. The pate was our favorite, but all of it was outstanding.

We are both very food oriented and somewhat picky and were a little disappointed about some of our choices but overall the food is better than most we had in Miami beach."
From Yelp (3 Stars, 4/5/2014) : Florida Cookery has pretty decent food but has been painfully slow the couple of times we've eaten there during our stay at the James Royal Palm

From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/17/2014) : It was pretty busy in the outside dining area however we chose to dine inside the dining room. We were one of a few other couples inside.. We received the absolute best service from Frost and Sully. They were attentive and provided great suggestions for us to try. The food was incredible! The 32oz bone in ribeye was the best steak I've had in years. The blue cheese butter was awesome. I enjoyed the lobster mashed potatoes as well.

From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/12/2014) : Sat outside. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The decor lends itself to a fun time. We had the kale salad for an appetizer. It was very good. The cauliflower soup was also very good. The snapper was excellent. Overall an excellent night.

Latest 2 Reviews :
From Open Table (4 Stars, 3/11/2014) : "I had lunch with my family on a sunny Monday. We chose a table inside the restaurant, well decorated and stylish. The tasty food was perfect, very true to Italian traditions. I could speak Italian with the maitre, which brought an even more special atmosphere to the occasion. Highly recommended!"
From Yelp (4 Stars, 3/17/2014) : Carpaccio and Mozzarella appetizers were excellent! The penne arrabbiata and risotto with Osso Buco meat were equally up to the task. Amazing says wifey but the court side seats for the people watching rivals Lebron and the Heat. For all that, the espresso was soso in a town where good coffee is de rigueur. Good service if you know what to expect for European style dining.

1014 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach

From Yelp (4 Stars, 4/13/2014) : Went there Friday night for the first time. Based on the Yelp reviews, my friend and I ordered the Viva Las Vegas Roll and the Dynamite Roll. While the Vegas Roll was good and quite creative (beautiful presentation), the Dynamite Roll rocked it! Both my friend and I like spicy food. Our waitress was both helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening...I'll be back!

From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/13/2014) : If you are looking for a nice place to eat in Miami, I highly recommend Scarpetta. From the bread they give you when you sit down, to the chocolate cake we had for desert, I enjoyed my meal. The highlights had to be the Creamy Polenta, Duck And Foie Gras Ravioli, and Chocolate Cake. We also had the Short Rib appetizer (which was the one thing I thought was just ok) and the Chestnut Cavatelli (which was very good, but not quite as amazing as the ravioli).

From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/16/2014) : To start we had crispy pig ear lettuce wraps - as strange as it may sound, it was actually quite delicious. Good mix of flavors. Had a good hearty Poutine. I love raw oysters and actually prefer them raw after trying the Carbonated oysters. Shared the moroccan braised beer short ribs with brussel sprouts. The meat was tender and flavorful as was the brussel sprouts. I love NYC Ilili's brussel sprouts and Tongue & Cheeks brussel sprouts were measurable.

All preparations are authentic, the products are high end, and always served with attentive care. The owners and staff are serious about creating a fun cosmopolitan dining experience for knowledgeable diners. Start with a Negroni at the bar, try the pici with duck ragu, don't miss the amazing Fiorentina - expensive but worth it, competes easily with upscale steakhouses nearby. Nice people, great food, fun place. Auguri!"
From Yelp (5 Stars, 4/14/2014) : Skeptical of how good ragu of duck could be? Order it anyways, because it's amazing. The handmade pasta it came with was also fantastic. The fennel sausage risotto sounds odd, but it's also delicious.
