It’s since been taken over by the El Patio crew and given a decidedly Cuban makeover. See, the owners took a trip to Havana and decided to rip a page out of their boxing museum’s playbook. Which probably explains the boxing gloves lining the walls, the blue lockers and the poster of Cuban boxer Kid Chocolate on the wall. The theme is strong with this one. Inside, you’ve got a few options. There’s the Trophy Room, a solid spot for some rum and vaca frita sliders amongst a cadre of medals and…

Sugar is located at the top of the EAST hotel, which was the first tower to top off at the project. Here is more information about Sugar :   According to Urban Daddy : "There’s nothing but open sky here, so be prepared to make your exit should the rain gods decide to crash the party. Silly rain gods. The idea: a Balinese garden with a bar toward the back and plenty of intimate nooks nestled amongst trees and shrubbery for imbibing with a date. That’s the idea. Speaking of imbibing, the Sesame Sling with gin, sesame, hibiscus and mango is a viable option. As is the rye-and-Thai-iced-tea concoction they’re calling the Sweet Life. The edible things skew toward the Asian tapas side. Lamb and beef satay. Crispy tandoori squid. Stuff like that. Should rain happen, take cover in the loving arms of the bar at Quinto La Huella down on the fifth floor."   According to Yelp : "Brickell…

A new addition to Brickell’s vibrant dining scene, Baby Jane now opens since May 3rd. Brought to you by Native Sons Hospitality, the beloved emerging hospitality group behind Ariete, helmed by Sidebar’s Jason Odio and Cyprus Room alum, Chef Michael Beltran, along with Odio’s longtime mentor, nightlife honcho Roman Jones, Baby Jane fills a void among Brickell’s high-priced eateries, providing a laid-back bungalow atmosphere for post-work craft cocktails and evening snacks like duck and foie gras croquettas and pastrami tacos. Here is more information about Baby Jane :   According to Urban Daddy : "First, take whatever notions you have of Brickell hangouts and leave them stacked neatly by the door. Good. That’ll make it a lot easier to take in the elk horns on the wall, the church pew seats and the cozy fireplace. The fireplace is mostly there for show, though. Oh, there you are, Brickell. Starting at the bar is probably the right call. You’ll want to scan the “Punch Board” and see if anything strikes your fancy. Maybe a Jane and Juice with gin, passion fruit, jalapeño and honey. But be advised that a bottle of beer will play just as well here. Blame the elk…

But they’ve added some ’80s flair with animal-print wallpaper and a beachy back patio with frozen drinks. And that legendary piano—you’ll find it on its own stage. Respect, people."   According to Eater : "Inside the darkly lit lounge designed by Josh Wollowick, which is very reminiscent of its predecessor Magnum with the addition of animal print walls, it showcases a menu divided into two sections:…
