Sugar is the 40th floor rooftop bar and garden, offers cocktails and Asian tapas. There you can relax and watch day turn into night as you take in the panoramic view overlooking the downtown Miami skyline and surrounding waterways below. Sugar is located at the top of the EAST hotel, which was the first tower to top off at the project. Here is more information about Sugar :

According to Urban Daddy :

"There’s nothing but open sky here, so be prepared to make your exit should the rain gods decide to crash the party. Silly rain gods. The idea: a Balinese garden with a bar toward the back and plenty of intimate nooks nestled amongst trees and shrubbery for imbibing with a date. That’s the idea. Speaking of imbibing, the Sesame Sling with gin, sesame, hibiscus and mango is a viable option. As is the rye-and-Thai-iced-tea concoction they’re calling the Sweet Life. The edible things skew toward the Asian tapas side. Lamb and beef satay. Crispy tandoori squid. Stuff like that. Should rain happen, take cover in the loving arms of the bar at Quinto La Huella down on the fifth floor."

According to Yelp :

"Brickell and classy aren't two words I would normally use together in a sentence, but the hot new rooftop lounge, Sugar, is breaking the rules (for now)!   Located on the 40th floor of Brickell City Centre's EAST hotel, Sugar pays homage to its developers roots, with Asian Pacific decor throughout.  The style is unobtrusive, but felt slightly out of place.  However, the show stopper here isn't the decor; its the 360 degree city view! With maze like gardens and candles everywhere for mood enhancement, it is easy to see Sugar has something Brickell does not--- a quiet place to have a drink.  Small tables with benches surround the perimeter of the rooftop plus a few scattered love seats and a center bar.  The place is small and so are the food and drink menus.  The servers were always helpful and welcoming." written by Davina (rated 4 stars).
